Andres Bejarano, Founder CEO
Andres grew up in a family steeped in the building trades. His father owned a cabinet and custom woodwork shop. As a child, Andres worked with tools alongside his father, both always covered in sawdust. For more than 45 years, his grandpa was a plumber. His uncle owned a plumbing company servicing new construction in both residential and commercial buildings. Currently, another uncle works in masonry and landscaping in South Orange County.
In 2005, Andres moved to Rancho Santa Margarita. He was employed with a small general construction company in the woodworking subdivision. Soon, he was in charge of the subdivision. Two years later, he became a general manager in a larger company. It was there that he honed leadership skills managing many people in new constructions and gut remodels in several Orange County projects. Eventually, he created his first company called Custom Woodworking & Designs, which focused on customized woodworking projects in both Orange and Los Angeles Counties.
As a licensed General Contractor, he is now the founder and CEO of Nine 49 Designs LLC. The name is inspired by the area code of the place he is grateful to call home!
